Soo hi guys again, i was wondering ya'all if you could help me.. how to change skin, when a .txd file is about terrorist.txd and i wanna change it to bmycr.txd - should i be changing the name while in the .zip / .rar file or should i change it over when the IMG tool is opened?

Just extract it to your desktop and then right click on the file and click on rename

Then simply rename the file to the skin you'd like

You can also do it when it's in your zip, doesn't really matter.

Just change the name that's all you need to do.

Click here (http://www.gta-sarp.com/forums/showthread.php?99126-How-to-change-the-txd-dff-file-names-for-a-skin-should-change-while-in-rar-or-zip), for your answer.

Or I will just put the quote here.

Try to download Alci's IMG Editor, then just change the name of the mod(.txd & .dff)

Example, if you have a skin mod, and the files are mod.txd & mod.dff
And then you're going to replace the skin mod into Skin ID 93, just check the "Skin Model Name" here. (http://wiki.sa-mp.com/wiki/Skins:All)

Example, Skin Model Name of Skin ID 93 is " wfyst "
So, all you have to do is just change the name of the files such as from mod.txd & mod.dff, to wfyst.txd & wfyst.dff

And then, just open your gta3.img with Alci's IMG Editor, and then click "Action > Import (remove if exists) > Replace the files, then save it.

As Hanna and some others said you just need to rename the actual '.txd' and '.dff' files to whichever skin you wanna replace, then use the imgtool to replace the current ones.
