Your Question:
Any link to a simple tutorial on how to install texture mods? I just tried, and now it crashes upon start. Sorry if it's the wrong thread.

It's a corrupt texture mod then. What program are you using to install the mod?

Something such as Anli IMG editor 1.5. I just restored my computer as I don't feel like redownloading GTA. Any tips? Links? I just want my game to look better. (( Computer can't handle a ENB. I just want a simple gun and skin mod ))

use modloader instead, it'll be easier imo. Give it a try. You'll need ASI loader too.

Put the vorbis files into your samp file - add modloader into it - add the file into modloader's file.

Always back up your files before installing mods. Make a seperate clean GTA SA folder that you don't download mods to.

Now what? There isn't an application I can run out anything..
Ohh. You mean add the mod file into modloader?
Edit; last thing. Does this method work for gun textures? And what skin/gun does the mod go to when I exact I to that folder?

You can replace the skin/gun with whatever you want it as. Just rename them to whatever you want it as. Search for skin names here:

Same thing with guns.
Just rename the modification to the name of whichever skin/gun you want and add it into gta3.img.

Ight. Just checking. I change .ddf and .txd files to CJ.ddf and Cj.txd and replace it in the gta3?
(( Sorry if I'm getting annoying. Lol ))
