Dear community,

The WIP in the title stands for 'work in progress', being this status, items listed below may also be removed at any time. The list of items listed below are the items that have been completed. We are finalizing the update, and we are close. Items are ordered by the developer's name, and then by ID. Whilst we are finalizing testers are testing each feature thoroughly.


SARP 0.3c - Major, changelog (formative copy).

Key: administrator, general player, faction: related.



Added by Jacob Swift


1. New dynamic fire system (all fire types link in together).


- /createfire [type: small, medium, large] , /destroyfire [ID], /nearfire.
Fires can be put out by: fire truck, fire extinguisher. See a fire? /call 911.

2. Added camp fires. Limitations: one per 50 units; radius, box of matches required from 24/7.


- /lightfire camp, /putoutfire.


3. Out of control fires spawnable by players. Limitations: 15 litres of diesel; which is hard to collect, box of matches.


- /lightfire big

4. Fixed the trunk bug, new method: must be behind the trunk within 1.5 unit radius.
5. Fixed some HA bugs (classified).
6. Readded restrictions for factions, to: /give, /drop and includes SAnews, Taxi Company.
7. Rescripted Taxi Company.


- A new database for incoming calls, also used to accept calls: /calls.
- /cancelcall to cancel a call.
- /clearcalls to clear all calls.
- Taxi fare is now determined by how far, in a line, has been travelled.
- When accepted a call, a checkpoint is created (a smaller one), and removed when the player hops in.
- 30% of all fares are added to Taxi Company faction safe.
- Anti spam: players can only call again if their call has been: accepted, cancelled or cleared.


8. The new prison (was added earlier for a treat).


- In addition to what was added before: /inmates.

9. New FMD headquarters (thanks to Nate for mapping it).


- Y to open garages/doors: FMD members only.
- /safmd adjusted to new locker coordinates.


10. Added: withdrawing/depositing weapons into briefcase, and frisking them.
11. Added: extra protection to SANG vehicles against hackers, added protection to: Rustler.
12. Renamed SANews to San Andreas Network (SAN).
13. Renamed Bravta to Syndicate & adjusted their ranks.
14. Fixed: faction banks.
15. You must be inside vehicles to spray them due to abuse.
16. Fixed: gate exploit using: /movegate [CLASSIFIED].
17. Fixed: /reportbug anti spam.
18. Fixed: player mission count in /stats.
19. Fixed: tutorial not loading.
20. Added: a check on /editgate create for invalid models to prevent crashes.
21. Added: vehicle dynamic system (for: factions, donor, families or other use). Removed donor/faction/family vehicles, use this system instead.


/createvehicle, /near, /destroyvehicle.


22. Rescripted: player saving, player login, player spawn, player loading data, on player registration; fixed some flaws. It is now MySQL, and more efficient.
23. Added: infra-red goggles for: S.W.A.T and SANG.
24. Added: appearances, what does your character or others look like? What do they hold?


/appearance (alone to set your own), /appearance [id] to see another's appearance.


25. Added: /resetcrimes, to clear someone's crimes and arrests.
26. Added: walking styles: usable when holding ALT. Saves on relog.


/walkstyle [ID].


27. Added: a section: 'Character' in /help, for character related help.
28. Adjusted: when a player is banned, it displays why and who banned him/her.
29. Converted: the following commands to MySQL:


- /osetname.
- /setname,
- /namechange,
- /lastlogin,
- /oaddress,
- /aouninvite,
- /oprison (and to zcmd),
- /ouninvite (and to zcmd),
- /omakehelper,
- removed: /ogiverank - roleplay it or kick them.
- removed: /getip.
- removed: /getbanreason.

30. Removed: /deleteaccount, replaced with: /disableaccount which is handy in cases of character kills, or in general. This is to have account data more secured.


- /disableaccount to toggle for online or offline players.


31. Added: /lastgmx, displays the last time the server had been restarted.
32. Added: /drop Jerrycan.
33. Added: a 'fire' option to /call 911.
34. Adjusted: Fire system: /lightfire 'big' is now restricted to level 5+.
35. Combined: /nearfire and /near, to /near.
36. Adjusted: Hackers who try to hack into SANG vehicles, will notify administrators, but also be removed from that [U]dynamic vehicle belonging to SANG.
37. Fixed /cancel repair.
38. Fixed /checkplate.
39. Fixed some other minor bugs (including duplication).
40. Adjusted frisking briefcases to: /briefcase show -> player must show.
41. Fixed: Prior Weapons dialogue after death -> kept before previous death weapons in record.
42. Added: status to /id: stating if the player is tabbed or untabbed.
43. Added a camping ground (mapped by Jenko), future updates will vary how it's used.

3. Renamed: Taxi Cab Company to: San Andreas Taxi Company.
4. Fixed: /amsgs, now saving every time a message is sent.
5. Added: /omakehelper, head helpers+ can now set helpers that are offline to: none, helper or senior.
6. Adjusted: head helpers can now promote to senior helper rank.
7. Readded: AFK kicker, that now detects command usage.
8. Fixes: HA, related to hits: remains classified.
9. Fixed: /charity typo.
10. Fixed: messages appearing for mechanics that are off-duty (/duty off).
11. Fixed: mapper tags on /newbie.
12. Fixed: masked players being revealed when /transfering money.
13. Fixed: /sellcar.
14. Fixed: /accept vehicle.
15. Fixed: /change (the karate uniform command).
16. Fixed: /buygear "back" button.
17. Restricted: /m to players only in front seats.
18. Corrected: some further typos.
19. Converted: the following commands to MySQL:

20. Fixed: all upgrades saving issues.
21. Added: auto player removal (for offline players) when families are disbanded.
22. Fixed: the /q to avoid death bug.

General Update on the situation
3.0c is no longer WIP. Everything has been tested, and completed. The update is just around the corner. Meanwhile we'll perform bug fixes or minor adjustments. Everything on this list is now confirmed.

Some bug fixes were left out to avoid exploiters.

After-update fixes/changes;

- fixed: /signcheck electricity bill, players owning business ID 0 when they didn't originally own a business.
- fixed: /briefcase show -> not detecting if player is in range of other player.
- adjusted: /putoutfire -> anyone can put out anyone's fire to help avoid abusers ect.
If this is continued to be abused it'll be restricted only to the country side.
- fixed: /destroyvehicle not destroying vehicles (causing the duplicate effect). Requires General+ to destroy duplicates.
- added: FBI can now open LSPD gates.
- added: ability to /unban unconverted accounts (INIs).
- added: ability to /banaccount unconverted accounts (INIs).
- fixed: /getbanreason, /getip -> didn't support INI accounts.
- fixed: businesses, doors, houses, points, gates not saving.
- fixed: /lastlogin, now supports INI accounts (accounts that have not logged in since 3.0c).
- Adjusted: /createvehicle, /destroyvehicle faction vehicles to head+, General+ can spawn/delete non-faction vehicles.
- Adjusted: /near for Senior Developers, added SQL ID as well.

Changes made by Smo:
- fixed: gear, added /resetgearpos ~ players will need to reposition their gear.
- readded: /getip and /getbanreason for admins.

Pre-update changes were ignored.

These changes and further fixes will be applied ASAP (waiting on Smo). Sorry for the inconvenience. /destroyvehicle fix was applied last night, so a general+ administrator is needed to /destroyvehicle, the duplicate vehicles.
