[Guide] You're and your

First and foremost, this is a serious guide as it annoys me and surely other players of this community.

You're

A lot of players seem to be confused on how these two work, who the hell knows why. It's the most simplest words possible when it comes to abbreviations.

You're is an abbreviation of you are. The word literally has no other meaning to it therefore should not be mistaken/mis-used.

Here is a simple sentence on how to use the abbreviated word you're/you are.

Example;
You're beautiful. You have the smoothest skin ever!
Although a lot of people use the word your, it is wrong. Because you're stands for you are. No more to explain.

Example of what not to do;
You're sister is bloody feisty!
That would be classified as incorrect. Because if you take away the ' and the you and add an a, there you have it. (hope that one made sense.)

Your

The word your usually stands for something you own/belongs to you. (i.e, your book, your phone, your computer etc)

Here is a simple sentence on how to use the abbreviated word your.

Example;
Your sister is bloody feisty!
That would be classified as correct as that persons' sister belongs to her in a way/is related to her.

Example of what to not do;
Your beautiful. You have the smoothest skin ever!
That would be classified as incorrect because the person who said that would technically own the word beautiful.
