You've already been told it was clear abuse and looking at the screenshot supplied, I deem it as abuse as well, I don't believe it was a legitimate question. Public Relations may give you the benefit of the doubt but at the end of the day /newb is for script related Q/A only. What makes it worse is the fact you tried to make it seem like a question when you well and truly knew you were just using /newb as a way to get your friend to join the IRC.

I hope you've learnt your lesson and remember to use /newb(ie) strictly for script related questions and answer only.
