I can't start SAMP with Windows 10

When I try to start SA-MP It says that I need the Directx 9.0 version, when I download it I can't start the instalation because it says "'Ýou need Windows 7 or Windows XP or Windows Millenium Edition or Windows 98'' version, help.

Try this:

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas then right click on the gta-sa.exe icon and click properties, click compatibilty, then choose to run it under Windows 7 and click "OK".

That happened for me before, do as Jendry said and it will work fpr sure... because everyone had a problem with windows 10.

ok this is what i did from memory. try and open the game and server then it'll say you need direct x 9.0. click ok then windows will ask if you want to find a solution or something. click yes, let it find the solution for you then it'll download some files and should work. at least thats what happened for me
