Modloader Sounds

How come I can't install sounds by dragging and dropping them inside the modloader folder? I am pretty sure I've seen people doing so, but it doesn't work for me.

Sound mods are handled differently through modloader. The first thing you should have when using sounds is a folder in the modloader folder with the name of the sound container the sound mod goes in(ex: GENRL, FEET, etc). Inside of this folder, make another folder named Bank_numberofthesoundbank, and then put the sound file in there.

Example:
GENRL > Bank_001 > Sound_001.wav
