I understand you are trying to build a budget build but I recommend with going with atleast a 4gb card even with Budget builds, 2gb cards have started become more outdated since last year. AMD RX 480 is a good budget card.

The GTX 950 severely outperforms the GTX 750Ti. With it's DirectX12 capabilties, it's specially designed to handle MOBA games but will be able to run triple A titles at 1080p high settings with around 50-60 FPS.

A GTX 960 goes for around the same price range and is definitely worth investing in rather than the 950. If you're running games at 1080p or lower, 2GB should be enough VRAM or you could for the 4GB version. All in all, A GTX 1060 will be the best choice at the moment and also future proof.

AMD offer nice cards with its new Vulkan GPU's that are specially optimized for DirectX 12. An RX 470 is a very good choice.

There isnt that much of a wiggle room, if there is any complaints its that the system is already considered old, thats 4th gen i5 and still ddr3,

Id recommend getting the Intel Core i5-6400, they are similarly priced and what you'll get is a 6th gen i5, with DDR4 support on compatible motherboards, or i3-6100 to free some extra money to get a pretty nice gpu. Just dont get a old processor, thats my point since ddr3 is already leaving the scene

For amd's side, well its a wait for zen thing right now, as i cant recommend the AM3+ chips since the socket is gonna be phased out

Also another important question, is your monitor still VGA? the new 10xx series gpu from nvidia and the RX 4XX series from amd will no longer support analog displays
