Your Question:
I downloaded GTA SA from the link given to me by s friend because I'm at my cousin's house and I wanna play SARP. But when I try to install SAMP in the GTA SA directory, the Install button won't turn blue. He recommended changing the game's name from 'GTA SA' to 'gta_sa.exe'. I tried doing this but it doesn't work either.

Pm me the link, since you need to have the version 1 of gta to make samp work, ill check the link for you,

also make sure that you point the installer to the proper location where you installed gta-sa

The version is 1.0 though. Did you try redownloading SAMP and then trying?

Edit;
Try changing "gta_sa.exe" to "gta_sa".
