Your Question:
In GTA, whenever I have my resolution set to 1080p, I can't tab out, but if I set it lower than 1080p, I can tab out just fine.

In other games, I cannot change my resolution, its basically stuck in 1080p.
(Far Cry 4, World Of Tanks, DoTA 2, etc.)

If anyone has encountered similar problems and found a solution, please do share.

Running Windows 10 Home Single Language on an Intel i5 7200U w/ a dedicated GT940MX 2GB graphics chip.

Possible solutions I can formulate:
1. Run the game as an administrator.
2. Change the compatibility mode to Windows 7/XP.
3. Try to download a d3d9.dll file from any ENB.

Try using this mod Here (https://www.gtaall.com/gta-san-andreas/cleo/19222-razreshenie-1920x1080.html) then try setting it to 1080p.
It might actually work.

Thank you for the suggestions, however it did not yield any positive result. I managed to solve the resolution issue for other games by reinstalling the drivers for my on-board graphics (Intel HD 620).

For GTA, I had to leave it as is since I figured out a way to browse the web without the need to tab out from the game (which is all I technically do when playing SAMP)

This can be closed.
