So, if I'm making gang/family/mafia/whatever, do I have to donate thirty bucks before having an admeen to map/script my own HQ? Peace.

Well no, if you want to have a family with a HQ which is already here, you can pick a HQ which already exist, If you want your own or selfmade HQ, you can let someone script and map it for you for 30$ and send that to the admins.

Well eh, I heard some gangs got their HQ for free without donating a cent, is that true?

That might be because they picked a HQ which was made already and was mapped and scripted already. Basicly, if you want a gang, you can simply apply for it, or donate $40, just to have a gang. And like I said, if you want your selfmade HQ, you must donate another $30 for it.
