So I fixed everything that I could whatever etc but when I click singleplayer, it loads for a second and then nothing happens. Literally nothing, I've tried re-installing, same problem.
Then when I try opening SAMP servers, same thing. Nothing happens. Nothing even pops up or even a crash thing doesn't come up.
I've tried deleting Gta_set or whatever but it still won't work.
Any suggestions?

Let me try to make sense of this, your SAMP.exe(the loader) will not open up?

No. Even if I click on GTA_SA.exe it won't open.
When I go into SAMP> it opens>I double click ontop of a server>nothing happens.

But if you mean my PC type, it's a Windows 7.

That was my question and you answered it.

Now:

Right-Click on GTA_SA.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Compatibility Mode >

then click "Run this program in compatibility mode", then click the scroll down menu and click "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)"

So it should look something like this:
http://i1044.photobucket.com/albums/b449/chaos13125/1_zpsfa056dfa.png

Then after all that's been done, do this:

Right-Click on GTA_SA.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Privilege Level >

then click "Run this program as an administrator"

So it should look something like this:
http://i1044.photobucket.com/albums/b449/chaos13125/2_zps77f69fa0.png

After all this is done, restart your computer and try to launch the game

I think you should reinstall your game, also delete the "GTA SA Userfiles" folder from documents, it will work for you.

Well he said he already reinstalled both SAMP and GTA, so if my idea doesn't work you can try "just deleting the documents"

So the weird thing is, I'm not sure if I have mods or not. There's some shit in my Models folder and other folders within my GTA SA folder.
I need some sort of SS of each folder that mods go into so I can know which are mods and which aren't and delete the ones that are mods.

This problem happened with me too.
Solution;
Just open the game twice, click the " connect " button twice.
And also tell me, when you're trying to open the game, does any thing flashes on your screen?.
And also, update your graphics drivers.

Not serious problem mate, i had it before but i crashed, i guess its the same issue here.
The San Andreas cant upload, the San Andreas un-able to continue the process of showing you the game.
Nothing serious mate just find new link and make sure to install it on another folder, get ride of your current SA,
Its not samp problem.

Alright so I re-installed GTA SA from steam, I can play singleplayer perfectly but the thing is my Program Files 86x>Rockstar Games>GTA SA>Empty.
There's nothing in it.
I deleted everything in my GTA SA folder because I was going to re-install it from steam, but now there isn't anything in that folder but I can play GTA SA.. The hell?

John Wahl

I had this issue, it all got moved and you can find it via Start > Search and then for some gta stuff.

The issue is unknown why it moved, but a simple reinstall will fix it. I assume you're using a legal version of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas so it shouldn't be an issue.

Agent Cole Phelps

Okay now this is what you need to do:
(I have steam version too)

Go download SAMP as normally as you would(Don't download a steam version of it, just download a normal one)
After it's downloading and installed SAMP, click this link > HERE (www.f4egaming.com/gta-sa.zip) < to get a fixed version of GTA_SA.exe so you can play.

After it's down downloading, just unzip it and move all three files to the GTA SA folder.

Vinny Meadows

Okay, singleplayer works fine, but for some reason when I launch a SAMP server, it starts running the singleplayer mode instead of multiplayer.. Help..

Vinny Meadows
14th October 2012, 03:10 PM
Alright what the hell is this, getting me mad .
So, I fixed that problem above^
(I changed compatibility and made it run as admin)
but now when the SAMP bar loads up, finishes, it crashes.

Agent Cole Phelps
14th October 2012, 03:15 PM
do you have any mods or did you download the zip like I told you to do?

Vinny Meadows

Oh I didn't see that, let me download that zip.

Try renaming your gta directory to Gta Directory 2 then move it to the recycle bin and then restore to original point then try it
that worked for me

Install the game in new folder, might work.
And did you try my first solution?

Bob
16th October 2012, 04:33 PM
If you had mods, after re-installing the mods wouldn't be installed anymore.
If it's a re-installed version it should work, if not it's not any game issues, it's your drivers.
Check for updates, maybe check your graphics card settings etc.
Maybe even Right click on SAMP and 'Run as administrator', could help.

Okay, someone check those SS's I provided above and tell me if I have mods or if that is normal cos I'm so shit with these types of things.
Also, Justin your solution didn't work and Hyder that didn't work either.
I've tried running as admin but it won't work, I don't know why.
But when I run a samp server, GTA SA Singleplayer starts launching and shit. Not SAMP.
Solutions?

Did you get this from steam? If yes then completely delete everything and get it from a different source (use a torrent if you want to). Then when you get it install/place/extract the GTA SanAndreas file into a completely different place like your desktop. Then install SAMP and when you are installing make sure you Browse to your folder in the desktop. Try this, it will take some time but this will most likely fix the problem.
If this doesn't work I'm pretty sure it's a driver problem.

That's a very big waste of time... What he actually needs to do in go to:
First uninstall it from Steam by right clicking "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas" in steam itself. Then do the following:

[Windows 64-bit] C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and DELETE it
[Windows 32-bit](aka windows xp) C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and DELETE it.

Then go back into steam and begin to reinstall it. After the re installation is done go here and download this http://www.mediafire.com/?t4pedeysbwixosm (I would use my own link but I don't know where I placed one) and then unzip it. Then go back to:
[Windows 64-bit] C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas\gta_sa.exe and replace it when the one you just got from the download
[Windows 32-bit](aka windows xp) C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas\gta_sa.exe and replace it when the one you just got from the download

Then start SAMP and it should work. If it doesn't work I will have no choice but to give up on this as I've spent a lot of time trying to find out what your problem is.
