** WARNING: Might be outdated. **

Alright, hi or whatever you want to put in, nothing fancy.

Basically, this guide will be how you can stream music, not repeatly or so, just if you wish to stream a simple song on /ipod for yourself, or making it easier when you wish to make a request for stream over /report.

Basics / what you need.

A stable internet connection.
The music file downloaded on your computer.
To have a computer.
An iPod/Boombox ingame.

Steps:

Go to http://www.bbqfiles.com
Press the sexy "Choose file" button.
After choosing the file, proceed to "upload". (This might take some time, so prepare your popcorn or something, if you got a shitty internet.)
Make sure to copy the link afterwards.
(Streaming option one: Only for your ears) After it is done, copy the link and put it in /ipod -> custom.
(Streaming option two: Streaming within a certain area) After it's uploaded, make sure to have your Boombox placed down on the ground. Remember to paste the link in the "custom" option under the streaming.

-- WHAT COMES NEXT IS NOT NEEDED, BUT GOOD IF YOU'RE GOING TO REQUEST --

Go to http://www.tinyurl.com and make the link shorter.
Voilą! Now you can stream it all, in the way you want to. Use /ipod -> custom to stream it.

(Example of a fully done one: http://www.tinyurl.com/SARPFriday (<- made that one when I was in SANews, but never used it :/))

Additional information (not required, just a picture if you're lost)

This is how the website will look like.

The box with this color is where you choose the file (must be a music file!)
The box with this color is where you press to upload the file. (can take some time!)

Alright, if you need any questions, feel free to ask down here, but I hardly doubt there is any. The stream will automatically start to play once you go to the link.

Additional ways(based upon comments);

puu.sh, ge.tt, dropbox, etc also work (provide a direct download). Although if you use puu.sh I suggest that you delete the file after time because they're not meant to be file storage, just quick sharing.

Just wanted to mention that I spent my time creating a quick script earlier on so you can retrieve files from MP3Skull without having to tab out or anything. On /edit or /carradio, go to Radio Stations and then Custom and enter the following in the URL field:

[trackinfo]/[trackNo]

[trackinfo] - replace this with the track you're searching for. If there's no results for a certain song then remove some key words due to artists placing copyright protection on their tracks.
trackNo - some songs on there have annoying ringtone versions and stuff so if that version isn't good enough then change this value to one higher up to go to a different version if it's available.

Example - searching for "r kelly fly" and choosing the first result:

kelly fly/0

I've made it so that if a search returns with 0 results, then you'll hear an actual message in a female voice. Hope it helps and if you experience any issues or find any bugs then drop a PM.

Just to let you know, I'm not responsible for what songs are retrieved so don't contact me asking to add more songs or anything.

Credits to Calv (http://www.gta-sarp.com/forums/member.php?27024-Calv) for finding this amazing way to do it aswell.

CHANGELOG:
15th August 2013: Guide made.
16th January 2014: Updated, Boombox added.
20th January 2014: Updated, Calv's comment added.

Enjoy the stream!~

AS OF 28/06/2015 NONE EXCEPT ME, MYSELF AND I ARE ALLOWED TO REPOST THIS. IF YOU TRY I'LL LITERALLY TAKE A BIG DUMP ON YOUR HEAD.

Don't know, their choices. Maybe to avoid going in&out of the game all of the time if they want 1 certain song.

going out of game and play it and then go back is better IMO
and i thought this thread was about the "user track" you put in the game itself (when you switch radios, and stop at "user track", it plays the list of songs you've put.).

Everyone has their own taste in doing stuff, Klash. No, to be honest, I don't know shit about modding, haha. Took me 1 week to find out how to get skin mods >_>

Good guide as it finally gives people a reason to use their iPod ingame, like another user said, if they already have the file they can just run it by minimizing their game, however it's still a great guide since it's not so generic.

BBQfiles is down, as in you can no longer upload files to it.

UPDATED!
Added in a few words when it comes to the custom Boombox opinion, if you do not posess the knowledge on how to stream music of your choice, or a personal song.

Wat. That's to much.

go here http://mp3skull.com/ -> Find a song, click download. New window will open, copy the link from it and paste it to costume.

Wat. That's to much.

It was mainly created for the /ipod feature at the first place, but I decided to add in the boombox. Along with that, some people needs an extra detailed guide to actually understand it.

I goto Mp3 Skull, look up a song click download. Then copy the url in tinyurl. That's the easiest way.
