Rules

So, are you a new player that really doesn't know anything about roleplay? Well, if you're you have come to the right place!

The purpose of this thread is just for the rules and stuff.

Here are the most important stuff you need to know and must avoid:

Metagame(MG): Mixing OOC information IC. (E.G: Hey, John! (You read his nametag when you don't know it ICly.) )

Powergame(PG): It can be forcing roleplay among others or doing unrealistic things. (EG of Forcing roleplay: You do your action using /me and force something like: /me extends his right arm towards John, punching him in the face and gives him a concussion.) (Example of doing unrealistic things: /me would suddenly get some wings and fly away.)

In Character(IC): It's being in character. (Being your rp character)

Out of Character: Not being in character (like using /b or OOC stuff.)

Kill on Sight(KOS): Name says it all. (Example Someone appears and you just fire at him)

Deathmatch(DM): It's to kill people without any roleplay and with no roleplay.

Revenge Kill(RK): It's to kill someone that killed you. When you die, you lose 30 minutes of your memory. You cannot RK them.

Roleplay: It's to act like real life and being your character.

Quick Swapping(QS): It's to switch weapons to avoid reload.

Crackshoot or carsurf(CS): Crackshoot is exploiting a bug to shoot faster. Carsurf is to stand on top of a car when it's moving.

A Roleplay Guide:

Your roleplays DO NOT have to be LONG to make sense. You can write down small roleplays, but they need to make sense.

Some examples of some roleplay: Long roleplay: /me extends his right arm out towards the door, grabbing the door handle and pulls it open.
Small one: /me opens the door and enters the building.

How to level up:

To level up you must have the amount of money needed in hand and must /buylevel when you have enough respect points.

How to get respect points:

To get respect points, you must /signcheck [Number] every XX:01(Hour)/

How to roleplay: You can use /me, /do or /my.

A /me is your action.
/do and /my describe your actions.

Example: /me extends his right arm out towards the door, grabs onto the handle and pulls the door open.
/do The door would pull open.

How to get a job & make money:

To get a job, you must use /jobhelp and everything you have to do will be there.

When you reach the place you want to go to get the job, you get out of your car and go to that "I".

When you go to the "I" you type /jobhelp and then /accept job.

Arms Dealer job: The arms dealer job is very profitable, selling mats and guns make loads of money.
To get the mats for the guns all you need to do is go to the back of either the big ammunation or the one in Idlewood and /getmats. When you /getmats, you have to follow the checkpoint. This job is illegal.

Bodyguard: The bodyguard job is used for guarding people and selling mats. It's kind of profitable. If you want to get the job, go to the gym and go to the "I". When you go to the "I" you type /jobhelp and then /accept job. If you want to sell vests, find a buyer ICly and /sellvest [ID] price(Must be atleast 2k)

Drug Dealer: This job is used to sell crack or pot. To get this job, you must go to the Drug House that is near the gym and walk up to the "I"

When you go to the "I" you type /jobhelp and then /accept job.

To get pot, you need to go in it and walk up to the drug package and type the command.

To get crack, you need to get them from admins and sell them RPLY.

Drug Smuggler: Since the crack lab got removed, you can only smuggle pot. You go to the factory in Blueberry and go to the Drug House.

Mechanic: Being a mechanic isn't really profitable that much, but to get the job you must go to the Docks and walk up to the ''I".

When you go to the "I" you type /jobhelp and then /accept job.

Product Dealer: The product dealer is a job used to sell products to owners, it can be really profitable. When someone /ad's in game, you get the job and call or SMS them and get some products. You can get this job at Market, near the Donut Shop. You can get the products at the donut shop parking lot.

Lawyer job: You get the lawyer job near the bank, walk up to the "I". When you go to the "I" you type /jobhelp and then /accept job. The lawyer job allows you to /free or /defend players.

/free is when someone is in jail, you use it when you're close to the player and /free them.

/defend is when someone is wanted and wants to get rid of the warrant, you use /defend [ID] price.

How to join a family.

Ever wondered how to join a family? I'll tell you how!

Joining a family is judging your roleplay and if you know the rules.

If you want to join a family, all you need to do is find their HQ ICly and roleplay with them. If they like your roleplay and if you know the rules you might become a member of it! Good luck!

Pretty Good Work but the most Important things that A Newbie wants to learn are these:

1. How to earn Money or How to do a Job
2. How to Level up
3. How To Learn RP

I suggest you to show a little bit RP guide here also before the Becoming A Hitman, How to Join Family and How to join a Faction

But still Nice Guide

Nice Guide - Good Work :)

Guide is messy, title doesn't even match the content in the way it should. Only definitions and factions/families? Not really helping. Should rather be a "how to factions" guide.

But atleast you tried, respect for that.

"How to become a hitman" shouldn't be in a thread for a newbie, hitmen are people who know their way around the server good and have been here for quite the time.

Good post overall, but there's many improvements that can be made. For example, most if not all of this can be made so much better. Not only are most of the definitions unclear, but some of them are just straight up wrong. Crack shooting=crack bug? What?

Crackshoot or carsurf(CS): Crackshoot is a crack bug. Carsurf is to stand on top of a car when it's moving.

The meaning was wrong, I replaced it with the right one.

Nice guide, I believe this guide could actually help players learn the basics of San Andreas Roleplay until progressing on in the future of the server.
