I believe you need to be VIP (have the nametag/ug w/e) to do so.

Hello Darnel, I had a quick look into this for you and I'll give you a simple Guide on how to do so.
If you really ARE in the VIP group chat then this option should show for you.
On the Top Right Hand Bar > Click 'My Profile' > On the top right hand of your profile > Click 'Customize my profile, this should bring up an Dialogue > Select 'Page Background' > Select the 'Use Image' tab button within the dialogue that pops up > Insert an Image link or Image file into the box and you should be good to go! Hope this helps, I'll leave a Gyazo below on the 'dialogue' I am talking about.

Become part of VIP members, and then make an Forum Related Request about the VIP Tag, then you'll be able to custom your profile however you want it.
You can buy VIP at the donation shop.
Or you can exchange your tikis at the tikistore for Silver VIP, 30tikis cost Silver VIP.
