    Future of SARP (development-wise)

An insight about the future of SARP's development goal / roadmap

There are a lot of rip-off servers being made from a very old and buggy script which was leaked a couple of years ago. Now there is no guarantee that it won't happen again. As in another rip-off server being made with the old script. However, now we do have a copyright and a legal term contract for whoever has access to the script.

Now that that is out of the way. I'd like to update the community about what the development team has been doing so far with their time developing for SARP.

    • There has been a lot of code optimization. Bug fixes. And new additional features added into the game. i.e. jobs, missions, etc.
    • One of the key features that we would like to point out is that the game mode will have a better user interface. As in the "old" look of SARP will be redesigned to make it more modernized.
    • Gone will be the old ways where a player has to use commands to interact with items, jobs, NPCs, etc. It will be button-based. Mostly a combination of buttons that will be used as an interactive key. (More information will be provided about this as the development phase continues with the structure of each and every interaction.)
    • A key feature that has been missing in the game mode is that there is no way for 2-factor authorization or any solid process of retrieving your account. You have to prove that you own your account. Which is absurd. So another key feature is the addition of being able to link your account with your mail. So that if a player does want to retrieve their account they can do so via "Reset password". More information will be provided in the video linked at the end of this thread.
      Spoiler!

    Regards,
    SARP Development Team.

Nothing is random. Everything has a sequence.
