I appreciate the thread, but advanced RP never comes out of tutorials, but your own creativity and use of /me's and do's. Also animiations, actions , and speech itsefl.

Damn nice guide :) I hope more people learn to RP like this. One suggestion, is that you have some sort of test, or w/e to get onto the server. I see too many people who don't even know what RP means, and when you have a server with this player base, it becomes very difficult to deal with those people.
But yeah, great guide :)

Nice guide, not sure if you covered it but mention that longer and more descriptive /ME's are better like
/me reaches forward grabbing the glass with his left hand.
Grammar and punctuation make the RPer look 100 times better.

It was good, but you didn't really explain the part of roleplay that's the persona. Acting of the actions of your character. Yeah, /me and /do are ok ((And you didn't say anything about /my)) but the point is those are just commands used by a ghost person if no personality is shown behind it.
