[Guide] Helping New Players

The helping of new players who don't know how to roleplay is a four step process.

Step 1:
Welcome the new player(s) to the server.

*Sees new player at GYMl*
New Player: hi im new
Davis Devani: (( Welcome to SARP. ))

Step 2:
Get the new player to RP something.

Davis Devani: Wanna get new clothes?
New Player: sure
*Drive to the nearest clothing store*
*Pulls to the side of the road*
*Realistically park your car on the side of the road*
* Davis Devani grabs the key. *
* Davis Devani has turned the engine off. *
* Davis Devani removes the key from the ignition. *
*Walk into the clothing store*
*Ask the New Player to RPly look for the clothes they want*
Davis Devani: Take your time and look around. ((RP)) Tell me when you're ready.
New Player: Okay.
Davis Devani: (( In case you're wondering, use /me's and /do's to RP. ))
Davis Devani: (( RP is the process of acting something out. ))
Davis Devani: (( /me is to act something out. /do is to describe what you are doing in further detail. ))
*Let the New Player Roleplay*
*If you think that the New Player isn't very good at roleplaying, explain to them what they are doing wrong*
* New Player looks at clothes *
* New Player grabs some clothes *
* New Player buys the clothes *
*New Player /buy's clothes*
Davis Devani: (( Not the best, but it is something. Try to give more detail into your RP like this: ))
* Davis Devani begins walking up and down the isles, looking at the racks of clothes. *
** Looking at Jeans... (( Davis Devani )) **
** Looking at Shorts... (( Davis Devani )) **
** Looking at Slacks... (( Davis Devani)) **
Davis Devani: (( Then grab the item that bests suits your attire. ))
* Davis Devani grabs a pair of dark green shorts. *
* Davis Devani slings the shorts onto his shoulder. *
* Davis Devani continues to browse the clothing. *
** Looking at sleeveless shirts... (( Davis Devani )) **
** Looking at T-Shirts... (( Davis Devani)) **
** Looking at long sleeve shirts (( Davis Devani )) **
* Davis Devani grabs a blue T-Shirt. *
* Davis Devani begins making his way to the register. *
* Davis Devani places the items on the counter. *
((/my)) * Davis Devani's items are being scanned. *
** Till: $500 (( Davis Devani )) **
Davis Devani: [low] All righty.
* Davis Devani reaches into his pocket. *
* Davis Devani pulls out a leather wallet. *
* Davis Devani opens up his wallet. *
* Davis Devani reaches into his wallet and grabs some money. *
** $500 (( Davis Devani )) **
* Davis Devani places the cash on the counter. *
* Davis Devani takes his new clothes.



Step 3:
Ask them to RP another action. Either re-act the same action, or do another, say, shopping for a phone or filling up a gas tank ((RPly)).

Step 4:
If their RP still needs work, continue to describe what they are doing right and wrong, but be patient. If not, we won't have players to play with in the future.

I waited him at newbie spawn, he asked me where to buy clothes, we drove to local cloth shop, then we bought new clothes and RP'ed

(I taught him how to RP) , Then Skadoo gave me 5 tikis for teaching newbies how to RP.I gave newbie 40k.

He bought level 2 and got banned for money farming (lol)
