Can't extract .ASI files from win rar

So i downloaded a HUD mod and tryed extracting it from the winrar - but it eextracts every thing eles besides the .asi file in the folder, can any one help me fix this?

Erm, sometimes, i don't extract files, but i copy them straight to any folder i want, if you know what i'm talking about..

EDIT:If you'll post some SS'es , that would be great.

Is it extracting the other files? Only the .ASI doesn't extract? Maybe you need the 7zip too.
Try to get some pictures/videos and explain more the situation to see if we can help, even try to check the google, some sites can help you alot too.

This happened to me, your anti-virus might be detecting something in the .Asi file, therefore it won't let it extract.

This is right, it is the ant virus. It thinks that the .asi file is a virus so when it gets activated by the extracting process it automatically quarentines it. So go into your virus guard and add that file to always allowed and/or disable the virus guard during the extractions and for the period of time you use the file.

Here, Winrar will do find. I think it is because of your Anti -Virus thing. Turn off your Anti Virus, extract the .asi. Turn your Anti Virus back on. See, if that works.

Try opening the winrar file and drag the files onto your desktop.

The reason (i think) it wont extract is because you didn't enable that at the installation of winrar. When you install winrar it gives a list of all the extensions it can extract only 1 is left out and needs to be marked, i think that is .asi. Try re-installing winrar and mark all the extensions.
